It turned out absolutely amazing. I wrote down a Buckeye dip recipe from somewhere. I’m not sure where, the one thing I left out… peanut butter and how much. It wasn’t even on the list of ingredients not sure how I missed that one. So when I began to look up Buckeye dip recipes they were giving me all kinds of things that my dip didn’t have so I was trying to find the one that only included the ingredients that I knew I haf made before. This one was perfect. Thank you so much. My husband is addicted, and has been since the first time I made it. I’m trying to find the other recipes suggested on your site when I found this recipe. (Sugar cookie dip and I can’t even remember the rest) I’m not having any luck.

Hi Mary! Yes, you can freeze this dip! It freezes surprisingly well because it’s mostly cream cheese, butter, and peanut butter. Just store it in an airtight container, freeze up to 2–3 months, and thaw it in the fridge overnight. Give it a good stir before serving to smooth it back out. If it feels too stiff after thawing, mix in 1–2 teaspoons of milk or cream to loosen it.

There are no eggs and that’s why microwaving the flour is recommended

Tastes good, but not creamy enough for dip.
