Loving the recipe so far and can’t wait to taste it. One point of confusion. The directions speak about chocolate chips, but the amount isn’t listed in the ingredients, nor earlier in the blog post, so I’m stumped. I’m assuming that’s a mistake? Great recipe but I have a question about the chocolate chips. They are not listed in the ingredients but in step 5 it reads “add the chocolate chips and stir to combine”. Is that a mistake? I skipped them for now.

These cookies were delicious and pretty to look at. My only issue is that you really only need *maybe* half the amount of caramel for the topping; I had a ton leftover. Otherwise, this recipe is fantastic.
