Hey Nickie! Yes, you can leave off the butter topping and freeze! Just brush with the topping the day you’re making them. Bake straight from frozen or thaw overnight.

For a really large crowd, could you make up a huge tray and wrap the whole thing to be frozen?

Hello!! Yes, use maple syrup. Though honey would work too. Thanks!

Hi Molly, great recipe-I’m making tomorrow am for Tailgaiting. Just want to confirm that the glaze on top should have the maple syrup added and not honey? Or is it the other way around? The ingredients call for maple syrup but the instructions say honey. Thanks so much!

Hey Kelcie! That’s a great question. Yes, the majority of the carbs here are from the buns themselves. You could input all of the remainder of the ingredients into my fitness pal to get exact information! Hope this helps:)

Are the carbs in this recipe mostly coming from the sliders? I found some sliders that are 14 carbs each, but wondering if they’re coming from elsewhere too in this recipe.

Hey! I haven’t tried this but I definitely think you can make them in advance. I would assemble them without the maple butter glaze. Make that and pour it over right before serving!

Wanting to make these for a shower. Thanks!
